Projects bring together resources, skills,
technology and ideas to deliver business
objectives. Good project management helps
to ensure that these objectives are achieved
within budget, within time and to the required
quality.
Project failures are all too common -
some make the headlines but many are quickly
forgotten. Without good project management,
those who commission a project, those who
manage it and those who work on it may
have different ideas about how things should
be organised and when the different aspects
of the project will be completed.

throughout PRINCE2 is on the Business
Case, which describes the rationale
and business justification for the
project.
